After the bombing in Boston I resolved I was going to run in this city (or wherever I may be) for 365 days in memory of those who lost their lives. I was going to do this for everyone who lost a limb or even an ounce of blood at the Marathon on 4/15/13. Soon after I realized running hard everyday was not how runners do it, and I started taking breaks every three or four days. I also realized I was not running for Boston. I was given a gift by those affected on that day; I was running for me.

I may not be much of a runner today, but I am going to run my way through a year of honoring goodness.
